Speech Team successful

Heidelberg's Speech Team attended the 74th Annual Bowling Green State University's Falcon Classic Speech Tournament on Nov. 19. Although the team representation was small because of the illness of several team members, the 'Berg still brought home honors. While competing against teams from 20 universities, junior Justin Mourguet was a semi-finalist in his first-ever collegiate debate tournament. Justin also placed fifth in Extemporaneous Speaking against tough competition and ranked as the top novice debater in the tournament. Please be sure to pass on your congratulations to Justin when you see him on campus.

The team travels next to Ohio University in late January.
