Faculty Pursuits: Week of Dec. 9, 2019
Dr. Cindy Lepeley (Spanish) taught a two-day court interpreter training in Columbus on Dec. 6-7. Sponsored by the Supreme Court of Ohio, the training is for interpreters who are preparing for the state court certification exams. Topics covered included idioms, the code of ethics and interpreter protocol, legal terminology and procedures, and modes of interpretation.
