‘Say Cheese’: Student Affairs, Marketing offering First Day of Class photo session

We’ve all seen those adorable “First Day of School” photos, right? Student Affairs and Marketing are partnering to offer an opportunity for ‘Berg students to get in on the fun on the first day of classes. Call it year two of a new tradition!

Although our Heidelberg “kids” are quite a bit bigger than those little ones whose photos we’ve all seen on Facebook, we still think the start of a new school year is something to celebrate.

We’ll have our teams stationed at the Heidelberg “H” on Greenfield Street from 10 a.m.-noon on Monday for students passing by between classes to stop by and get a “First Day of Classes” photo taken. Come by yourself or with a group of friends and let us see those smiles! Faculty and staff are welcome to stop by as well.

We won’t ask you what your favorite color is or what you want to be when you grow up, but you’ll have an opportunity to share your favorite thing about Heidelberg or what you’re most looking forward to this year.

Marketing will select the best photos from the day and post a gallery on Heidelberg’s social media channels. We’ll also download the photos of all students who participate and make the images accessible for you to share with your friends, family and on your social media.

Questions? Contact Dennis LoConti in Residence Life (dloconti@heidelberg.edu) or Angie Giles in Marketing (agiles@heidelberg.edu).
