HYPE has moved! Check out their new digs in Beeghly Library

If you’re looking for career help or have questions about your HYPE requirements, look no further than Beeghly Library!

Dr. Carole Thomas, Director of Career and Military Services, and Cassey Bolyard, Assistant Director of Career Services, are now located in Beeghly Room 209 (located directly above the Academic Support Center and Beeghly’s computer lab.) Their move marks the next step in the reorganizing of Beeghly Library to become a student one-stop shop for academic success resources. “Being in the library has a different feel with it being a more student-focused building,” Cassey Bolyard shared. “I like that aspect of being in a student center, so to speak.”

“With this move, the students can work with both of us, me and Cassey, at the same time,” Carole added. “More collaboration is possible in this new space than there was in our previous office setup!”

Their new office has lots of seating for students and tables filled with leaflets from various employers. There’s lots of walking room, and a white board perfect for conceptualizing your next career moves. More importantly, once you’ve identified your goals and next steps with Carole and Cassey, you can do some research in the stacks or get some academic advice from the Owen Center team downstairs to turn those plans into reality.

As we get closer to the end of the semester, be sure to stop by and say ‘hi’ to Carole and Cassey in their new space!
