Sean Joyce (Computer Science) spent part of winter break building on his existing data science knowledge, earning IBM SkillsBuild badges in both Artificial Intelligence and Data Fundamentals.

Dr. Doug Kane (Biology, Ecology, NCWQR) is the co-author of a recently published peer-reviewed journal article. Change in Forest Tree Composition on the Lake Erie Islands Due to the Invasion of the Emerald Ash Borer (Agrilus planipennis) and Invasive Plants was published in Northeastern Naturalist, Volume 30, Issue 4 (2023): 449–466, with co-authors from The Ohio State University's F.T. Stone Laboratory and Lake Erie Islands Conservancy.
