Heidelberg celebrates Arbor Day, Tree Campus designation

Heidelberg University Tree Committee members recently held an event to celebrate HU's being named a Tree Campus by the National Arbor Day Foundation. This comes one year after the dedication of the Dr. Percy L. Lilly Forest. Drs. Doug Kane and Noel Mano and Environmental Science student Kelly Peterson (left to right) informed the campus community and celebrated the designation with ice cream sandwiches on Arbor Day April 26.
