Students attend Harmful Algal Blooms meeting in Toledo

Recently Dr. Doug Kane's Environmental Science 491 Limnology class (and several Biochemistry majors) attended the Harmful Algal Blooms - State of the Science meeting in Toledo. 

In addition to attending a day of interesting talks, the students also met with a research scientist from The Anderson's to learn more about careers in Research and Development Chemistry.

Further, Dr. Nathan Manning, interim director of the National Center for Water Quality Research gave one of the talks, Small Watersheds Can Tell Us Loads about Lake Erie, with coauthors from the NCWQR , USDA-ARS, and The Ohio State University.
