Limnology class visits National Estuarine Research Reserve

Recently Dr. Doug Kane’s Limnology course (ENS 491) visited Old Woman Creek National Estuarine Research Reserve (NERR) in Huron, Ohio. An overnight at the facilities’ dorms was followed by sampling the estuary for physical and chemical parameters, macroinvertebrates, and fishes in the morning and then doing the same in the afternoon in the Huron River at Milan Wildlife Area (Lovers’ Lane).
