'Berg Theatre students take on Manhattan

Twenty-six theatre students, along with Professor Karla Kash and instructors Sue Hlavinka and Cynthia Ramsdell traveled to New York City over spring break for a series of professional development opportunities.

During the trip, the students presented their senior showcase performance for agents and casting directors. Theatre performance majors participated in a workshop with a casting director and theatre production majors shared their portfolios and received feedback from professional designers and stage managers. Performance majors participated in masterclasses.

The group also took in a performance of Gypsy, starring Audra McDonald.
