Joan McConnell to give organ recital

Joan Holder McConnell, instructor of organ and music theory, will perform her annual faculty recital at 3 p.m. Sunday (Sept. 10) at Trinity United Church of Christ in Tiffin.

The concert will include masterworks by J.S. Bach and Felix Mendelssohn, along with a new composition, The Light of Light Descending, by Dr. Doug McConnell.

Andreas Oeste, Heidelberg adjunct instructor of oboe, will be featured in a work by Calvin Hampton, titled “Variations on ‘Amazing Grace.’”
