Lights, camera, MAC in action

WTOL-TV reporter Jon Monk interviews Dr. Marjorie Shavers in The University Commons on Thursday.

Dr. Jo-Ann Lipford Sanders and Dr. Majorie Shavers stepped into new territory on Thursday -- in front of the camera -- when they were interviewed by reporter Jon Monk of WTOL-TV (Channel 11) out of Toledo. Jo-Ann and Marjorie masterfully shared news of the graduate counseling program's $1.3 million government grant to, among other initiatives, provide scholarships to counseling students who will work in underserved areas and address drug abuse issues and trauma-informed care. They did an awesome job representing the counseling program and Heidelberg!

Here is WTOL's news segment with Jo-Ann and Marjorie.
