'17 alum begins fundraising efforts for father

Deborah Fultz with her father, Rick, after 2017 Commencement.

Deborah Fultz, '17, has set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for recovery efforts of her father's recent tragedy. Rick Fultz's home caught fire on Nov. 18, likely from a portable kerosene heater. While Rick was rescued by a neighbor before his home burned to the ground, he lost his home and everything in it. Rick received treatment for smoke inhalation and minor burns and is still recovering from the physical and mental trauma of the accident, according to family members. Deborah says that while her father would never ask for help, he deserves it in this difficult time. "Even if you can't donate, please share and send your love and prayers," she said.
