'Berg, Terra State partner for new nursing degree

Heidelberg hosted the signing of the 1+2+1 articulation agreement with (L-R) Beth Schwartz, Rob Huntington, Jerome Webster and Jennifer Spielvogel.

Heidelberg and Terra State Community College are partnering to develop a Bachelor of Science in Nursing program that will address the rising market need for more highly skilled nurses entering the healthcare profession. On Thursday, an important step in the process was completed when President Rob Huntington and President Jerome Webster, along with Provost Beth Schwartz and VP of Academic Affairs Jennifer Spielvogel signed a 1+2+1 articulation agreement. The agreement spells out that nursing students would attend Heidelberg their first year, Terra State for years two and three and finish their bachelor's degree at Heidelberg.
