Do you like helping your fellow students with their difficult coursework? Do you thrive in a collaborative team atmosphere? Have you received a grade of B or better in any of the following courses: ACC 201, CHM 111, MTH 090, MTH 115, MTH 121 or PSY 101? If you've answered to all three of these questions, then you should consider applying to be a supplemental instruction leader at the Owen Center for Academic and Career Support for Fall 2018!
Supplemental instruction leaders work with students in high-fail courses to offer learning assistance and academic support. Other resume-boosting aspects of this work include community involvement, leadership and team management skills. If selected, applicants can expect to make $8.15/hour for a 6.5- to 9-hour work week.
