Board grants tenure, sabbaticals

At the Feb. 27 Board of Trustees meeting, board members approved promotion and tenure for three professors. Congratulations to Dr. Courtney DeMayo (history), Dr. Aaron Roerdink (chemistry) and Dr. Kristen K. Williams (education), who all were promoted to associate professor and given tenure, effective July 1.

In addition, trustees also granted a sabbatical for Dr. Ginny Gregg (psychology) and Dr. Daryl Close (computer science, philosophy). Both Ginny and Daryl Professor will be on sabbatical during the spring semester of the 2016-17 academic year.
