Dr. Nancy El Gendy is offering two, three-credit-hour Gen Ed summer school courses from May 26-June 29:

WRI 101: Through a variety of fun activities, this course will introduce you to college-level prose writing, research, and argumentation. There is no required textbook; I will provide you with all the materials online. In this course, you will write a personal narrative, a persuasive essay on film, and a research paper on a topic of your own choice

LIT 102, Literary Genre: This online course is an introduction to three of the broad literary genres: stories, poems, and plays. I will walk you through all the steps of reading literature and writing on literature.
