'Freaky Friday' mini-documentary in the works

Licensing restrictions along with the COVID-19 pandemic have prevented audiences from seeing live shows or recording the performance of the Theatre Department’s first show of this year, “Freaky Friday.”

But those limitations aren’t stopping theatre students from performing the show or sharing behind-the-scenes content with their loyal audience.

On Nov. 15th, the theatre is scheduled to release to subscribers a special mini-documentary, “Making Theatre During the Pandemic,” which will feature cast interviews and clips from “Freaky Friday.”

Going forward, all of the proper licensing is in place for the next production, the beloved holiday favorite “Elf.” A full recording of the production will be available for sale to subscribers and general ticket buyers, beginning in December. Stay tuned for available dates and details.
