Berg Enactus team stands tall in regional competition

Berg Enactus team members (L-R) Brock Riggs, Taylor Windau, Sidney Calabro, Danielle Badertscher and Kyle Galco.

The School of Business Enactus team of Brock Riggs, Taylor Windau, Sidney Calabro, Danielle Badertscher and Kyle Galco traveled with their advisor, Pat McLeod, to Washington, D.C., last weekend to take part in the regional Enactus business competition. Dean Haseeb Ahmed also worked with the team in their preparation for the competition.

The Berg team competed against Worcester State University, Roberts Wesleyan College, Bloomsburg University, St. Joseph University, Ferrum College and the University of New Hampshire. The winners of each of the seven divisions move on to the Enactus USA National Exposition.

The students prepared for the competition through coursework this academic year. Although they performed very well and were excellent ambassadors for Heidelberg, the ‘Berg team unfortunately did not move on to the next level of competition.
