Magazine recognizes work of BOT member Steve Marin, '90

’Berg Board of Trustees member and alum Steve Marin, ’90, has received an outstanding professional distinction. The president and CEO of Marin & Sons, a campaign management and governmental consulting services organization, Steve has been named one of the 100 most influential people in Florida politics by INFLUENCE Magazine.

This is the third time INFLUENCE has published its list. There are no elected officials on the list; instead, it includes “The Players, The Thought Leaders, The Lobbyists, The Titans, The Counselors, The Media, The Industry Leaders, The Advocates, The Wonks and The Legends.”

In his role with Marin & Sons, which is based in Miami, Fla., Steve is active in providing direct advocacy services, media campaigning and message development. The company serves clients including corporations, trade business associations and non-profits.

It’s not the first time Steve has been recognized for service to his clients and the profession. In 2010, he was named one of “Business Leaders’ 2009 Movers & Shakers in the Business Community” by South Florida Business Leader Magazine. The firm also was recognized as one of the Top 100 Small Businesses in South Florida, at No. 20.

The firm’s success and Steve’s personal success are rooted in hard work and dedication to each client. Marin & Sons focuses on getting results and providing exclusive attention to clients.

Congratulations, Steve!
