Ohio Remembers partnership announces programming

Ohio Remembers is a joint initiative of Heidelberg University and Together We Remember to empower students, educators, and community leaders in Ohio and beyond to be effective human rights advocates and stewards of collective memory. Through interactive virtual programming offered from January to May 2021, participants will gain the knowledge, skills, and relationships they need to foster social resilience in a time of acute social conflict.

We are excited to share a variety of opportunities for you to get involved and access further support:

  • Access the Recording: If you missed our first program on 1/27  in honor of International Holocaust Remembrance Day (Speaking Across the Divide) or would like to share it, you can access the recording here

  • Access a Lesson Plan: If you are an educator, you can use / adapt this free lesson plan resource, which accompanies the "Speaking Across the Divide" program. This was developed by educators on our team.

  • Share Your Feedback: If you need assistance with lesson planning, please take this 2-3 minute survey so we can learn about your needs and share relevant and meaningful resources as well as incorporate your input in future programs.
