Taking the gavel

Heidelberg University has received the gavel as the host-to-be for next year's Model United Nations of the Far West. For the third time since 2011, Heidelberg will be the host/organizing institution for next year's conference. The transition took place at the banquet Monday (April 18) at the conference in San Francisco. Bethany Beaver, holding the gavel, will be next year's Secretary-General, the top administrative position and the leader of the conference. Others in the photo are (L-R) Kim Keenan, Ashley Helmick, Cheyane Thacker, Savannah Naugle-BakerClayton Houdeshell and Dr. Marc O'Reilly. Bethany, Ashley and Kim served as chairs of the General Assembly at this year's conference. Cheyane, Savannah and Clayton chaired 2nd Committee.

End-of-year inventory has been completed early.

You will start to see an increase in activity on campus in the upcoming days and weeks.

The bookstore will be closed for sales following Alumni Weekend through the 4th of July weekend as we conduct end-of-year inventory.
