Education honorary inducts record number

The newest members of Kappa Delta Pi.

A record-breaking number of students were inducted April 28 into the Alpha Psi Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi, the international honor society in education. Kappa Delta Pi fosters excellence in education and promotes fellowship among those dedicated to teaching.

To become a member at Heidelberg University, students must have a 3.5 overall GPA, have sophmore standing and have completed education courses with an intent to continue as an education major. Dr. Julie Green is the chapter advisor of KDP at Heidelberg University.

Congratulations to the following students who were inducted for 2016: Julie Cross, Victoria Hossenlopp, Rachael Rosh, Sarah Wott, Clara Adelsperger, Megan Cook, Shellie Dye, Lillian Ellis, Kristen Fett, Baylee Garrett, Theresa Jackson, Kendall Newell, Rachel Peters, Madison Skinner, Kelly Strausbaugh, Isabelle Hoke, Michelle Motil, Kaylee Wilburn, Allison Prayner, Kalyn Heinle and Kacie Elchert.
