"War in Ukraine": A Virtual Presentation

One month ago, Russia invaded Ukraine. As we stand in solidarity with the Ukrainian people, Ohio has pulled Russian vodka from the supermarket shelves and lit up iconic buildings in blue and yellow. But what does war in Ukraine really mean for you, the United States, and the world?

The campus community is invited to join Heidelberg University faculty and alumni experts as they discuss what led to the invasion, what’s happening now, and how this may or may not end in a virtual presentation from 7-8:15 p.m. on Tuesday (March 29).

Moderator:

Melissa Harrison, ’02, leading communication professional in Washington, D.C.

Panelists:

Dr. Marc O’Reilly, Heidelberg University Political Science Professor who specializes in international relations, war & peace, European politics, and U.S. foreign policy

Jaimie Orr, ’81, Commander, JAGC, USN (Retired), Professor of National Security Strategy and Dean, U.S. National War College
