Honors students' film noir project hits the mark

Kate Rose as Rita and Cameron Lyons as Detective Sullivan in 'How to Murder a Millionaire.' 

With Detective Charles Sullivan on her tail and the other two wives knowing what she did, will Rita be able to stay out from behind bars? If the DVD sleeve reads like a dark 1940s crime drama, that’s because it is. Five students in Dr. Doug Collar’s Film Noir Honors Seminar jumped at the chance to create an original screenplay and film. Their final project was the premiere of How to Murder a Millionaire at the end of the spring semester.
