PURSUITS: July-August 2016

Dr. Nate Beres (chemistry) has been asked to be a judge in the ChemChamps Contest, which looks for the best chemistry/science communicators for a non-scientist (adult) audience.  The finalists will compete in Philadelphia in August.

Nate also is also acting as a reviewer for Student Chapter reports for the American Chemical Society.

Dr. Saptashati "Tania" Biswas (NCWQR) presented a paper on Methodological Advances and Challenges of Long Term Pesticide Monitoring in Ohio Rivers at the 53rd Annual North American Chemical Residue Workshop in St. Pete Beach, Fla., July 17-21. The paper was co-authored by Dr. Laura Johnson, Dr. Ken Krieger, Dr. Aaron Roerdink, Jack Kramer and Ellen Ewing.
