PURSUITS: Aug. 22, 2016

Cynthia Suter (registrar) joined four seasoned registrars as faculty for the Ohio Association of College Registrars and Admission Officers Summer Institute at Mohican State Park Aug. 3-5. Several training sessions were provided to newer registrars or those newer to a role in the registrar's office. Her sessions included What is a Leader and Current Issues and Best Practices.

Dr. Bill Reyer (English) served as the final judge for the Iowa Poetry Association's 71st Annual Adult Division poetry contest. In addition, Bill served as judge for the Florida State Poets Association's Tomoko Poets Award for nature poetry.

Congratulations to Dr. Trevor Bates (Athletic Training), who has been selected to receive the 2016 Young Alumnus Award from his undergrad alma mater, Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois.
