Health Science camp a success

High school students participated in the first Health Science summer camp.

The Health Science Division hosted its first annual Health Professions Camp this summer. This camp was designed for high school students interested in the healthcare field who want to explore the different health professions available. Highlights of the camp included a casting lab, a cadaver lab tour by Dr. Pam Faber, and speakers representing a physician assistant, a physician, an athletic trainer, a physical therapist, a chiropractor and a dietitian. Organizer Jena Suffel said the division looks forward to hosting the camp again next year.
