Heidelberg's first-generation national honor society, Alpha Alpha Alpha (or Tri-Alpha), recognizes the academic achievements of first-generation college students.

To qualify:

you must be a current student at Heidelberg,
who has completed at least three full-time terms of study (minimum 36 credit hours), at least one of which must have been at Heidelberg,
who has an overall GPA of at least 3.2 in all coursework, and
who comes from a family where neither parent nor any legal guardians earned a bachelor’s degree.
alumni, faculty, and staff members are also welcome to join.
