Fall 2019 Theatre, Hei-Notes Auditions

Auditions will be held May 6-7 for fall semester theatre productions and the Heidelberg Hei-Notes.

"Cabaret" by Kander and Ebb -- performance dates Sept. 19-20

Audition requirements: 32 bars of a song pre-1970 in a similar style to "Cabaret" and a dance callback

Greek plays "Lysistrata" and "Oedipus Rex" -- performance dates Nov. 7-10

Audition requirements: Either a 1-minute comedic or a 1-minute dramatic reading from a Greek play

Hei-Notes, a music and theatre ensemble focused on performing in a variety of styles including musical theatre, pop, rock, a cappella and original and new works. Fall performance TBA; "Nutcracker," December 15 at the Ritz

Audition requirements: 32 bars of a pop/contemporary musical theatre pieces.

Auditionees should sign up for an audition slot on the call board for May 6.

Dance callbacks will be held throughout the evening in groups based on the time slot you sign up for.

Callbacks will be posted following all auditions on the evening of May 6.

Callbacks will occur on May 7.

"Cabaret" callbacks will be held on May 7 from 12-4 p.m.

Greek play callbacks will be held on May 7 from 4-7 p.m.
