2021-22 Theatre auditions now open

The Heidelberg Theatre is now accepting auditions for the slate of productions for the 2021-22 season.

  • The Addams Family (Musical)
  • All Together Now! A Global Event Celebrating Local Theatre - An exclusive musical revue featuring songs by Stephen Schwartz; Lynn Ahrens & Stephen Flaherty; Cameron Mackintosh; Alain Boublil, Claude-Michel Schönberg & Herbert Kretzmer; Disney Theatrical Group; Frank Loesser; Alan Jay Lerner & Frederick Loewe; Tim Minchin; Jonathan Larson; Marc Shaiman & Scott Wittman; Leslie Bricusse & Anthony Newley; Frank Wildhorn; Charles Strouse & Martin Charnin; Marcy Heisler & Zina Goldrich; and many more to be announced.
  • Pride and Prejudice (Play)
  • My First Time (Play)
  • HeiNotes (Musical Theatre Ensemble - Due to the number of students enrolled in HeiNotes auditions will be competitive for this ensemble).

Audition Requirements:

60 Seconds of Up-Tempo Contemporary Musical Theatre Selection

1 Minute Historic Comedic Monologue - Here are some playwrights you should be looking at Moliere, Oscar Wilde, Etherege, Behn, Wycherley, or Congreve, Do some research!! Find something that requires you to be witty and to play status.

How do I submit?

Please submit one video (with both of your pieces) to the Fall 2021 Audition folder here.

Create a folder with your first and last name and upload your videos there. For example, I would create a folder labeled Stephen Svoboda. 

Videos must be submitted by May 18th at 11:59 p.m.
