Nominations open for Curns Service Awards
Nominations are being accepted for the annual Jeannine Curns Distinguished Service Award for administrative and support staff. Jeannine faithfully served the Business Office of Heidelberg University for 48 years, rising from a cashier at the age of 18 to the Vice President for Administration. During her four-plus decades of service, she was recognized for her humility, joyful spirit, work ethic, fairness, and unwavering commitment to the employees of Heidelberg. For her faithful and exemplary service to Heidelberg University, and particularly for her steadfast dedication to the support and improvement of the lives of administrative and support staff, the Jeannine Curns Distinguished Service Awards were created in her honor. Through these awards, her life and her work at Heidelberg are honored with the hope that they serve as an inspiration for all who follow in her footsteps.
All faculty and staff are encouraged to submit nominations for these two awards – one to an administrative employee and one to a support staff employee. The nomination forms are located here. Please submit no later than Monday, January 9, 2020. The nominees and the recipients of the awards will be announced during the Employee Recognition Luncheon on January 14.
