The Heidelberg community will participate virtually in #TogetherWeRemember Reading of Names of Genocide Victims on Monday and Tuesday, April 5-6. #TogetherWeRemember is a global day of remembrance and activism in honor of victims of genocide through coordinated name readings in communities across the world and on social media. Names will be read from the Archive of Names, the first of its kind to centralize names of victims and rescuers from different genocides. Reading of names will be done virtually from 3 p.m.- 5 p.m on Monday, April 5 and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 6. This is an opportunity for us to recognize the truly outstanding people who have made an impact on our community in positive ways. Nominations are being accepted for: Student Organization Advisor of the Year Student Organization of the Year Lewis E. Miller International Ambassador Award Student Leader for Diversity Outstanding Student Employee of the Year Emerging Leader Award Ralph and Sue Quellhorst Community Service & Civic Engagement Award Robert E. Oleson Outstanding Student Leader Award To review criteria for these awards, please visit the Student Awards Nomination Form. Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to submit nominations for multiple awards; you will need to complete the form separately for each submission.
