Thanksgiving Break Stay Information

Heidelberg University will be closed from Saturday, November 20-Sunday, November 28 for Thanksgiving Break.

All students should review the information below in regard to Housing during Thanksgiving Break.

Any student wishing to apply to stay on campus during Thanksgiving Break should complete the Thanksgiving Break Stay Request Form.

Information for All Residential Students:

All residential students must vacate their university housing by 10 AM on Saturday, November 20 unless they are registered and approved to stay for Break Housing by the Office of Residence Life.

Athletes who are staying on campus to compete in collegiate competition will be approved to stay based on the roster submitted by their coach and do not need to complete this form; however, it is the responsibility of the student to ensure that they are included on a list with their coach.

The cost to stay on campus is $23 per day ($11.50 per day for students who live farther than 150 Miles away from campus). Late registrations or students who fail to register and still remain on campus may be subject to additional fees. The reason students apply for staying, however, is subject to approval by the Office of Residence Life.

Students who stay on campus during breaks are subject to Heidelberg University's Norms, Policies and Procedures. Students who fail to register or fail to comply with these policies will be asked to vacate their room for the duration of the break and may be subject to judicial sanctions and fees.
