Junior lands prestigious Oak Ridge internship

Two years ago, as a freshman, Kiera Malone was among a group of Heidelberg students who had the awesome opportunity to tour the U.S. Department of Energy-sponsored Oak Ridge National Laboratory. The tour so impressed her that she had a strong desire to return for more intense study. Now, with greater confidence in her abilities and experiences and thanks to encouragement from her professors, Kiera applied for and received a summer internship at Oak Ridge, her first choice.
