Heidelberg Fund surpasses goal!

For the third straight year, The Heidelberg Fund has surpassed the $1 million mark while at the same time shattering its goal AND a new all-time high mark.

When the books were closed on Fiscal Year 2016 (July 1, 2015-June 30, 2016), donors had made gifts to The Heidelberg Fund totaling $1.069 million. This year’s goal was $1.03 million.

“Our donors have been incredibly generous this year,” said Katie McCrystal, director of The Heidelberg Fund. “It’s a wonderful testament to how much they believe in what Heidelberg University is accomplishing. We are truly grateful for their support.”

Other key highlights that demonstrate the great support for The Heidelberg Fund:

• $766,087 total gifts from alumni
• $245,719 total gifts from the Board of Trustees (100% participation)
• 17.2% participation among alumni
• $45,000 total gifts from faculty and staff (60% participation)
• Average gift to The Heidelberg Fund was $553.
