Pepsi-Hammel Student Research Grant Application

The first deadline for grants from the Pepsi Fund and the Martha and Ernest Hammel Student Research Fund to support student research and/or travel to professional conferences is October 1, 2025. Applications should be submitted by 11:59 PM. Pepsi funds are for undergraduate students only; Hammel funds may be used for undergraduate or graduate students.

The 2025-2026 Pepsi/Hammel Application can be accessed through the Community and Academic Engagement Committee's (CAEC's) Canvas page. Students can self-enroll in the course here.

Students must work with a Faculty Mentor.

Faculty Mentors and Department Chairs must approve of the research/travel.

As students submit their applications, Faculty Mentors should send a letter of support to CAEC Co-Chair, Dr. Desirae Matherly: caec@heidelberg.edu
