Nationally recognized leadership expert to headline HU’s Lessons in Leadership series

Heidelberg University’s School of Business will welcome nationally recognized leadership expert, author and entrepreneur Jeremie Kubicek to campus on Thursday, Nov. 5, for its annual Lessons in Leadership series. Known for his work in Relational Intelligence, Kubicek will share insights on leadership, communication and building cultures of trust and effectiveness.

The 2026 Lessons in Leadership event will take place from 6:30-8 p.m. in Wickham Great Hall. The event is open to all.

Kubicek is a dynamic communicator, seasoned entrepreneur and influential content creator whose work has helped leaders and organizations around the world strengthen relationships, develop their leadership skills and maximize their influence.

He is the author of the national bestseller Making Your Leadership Come Alive and co-author of several other books, including The 100X Leader, 5 Voices, 5 Gears and The Communication Code. His most recent book is Voice-Driven Leader.

As co-founder of GiANT, Kubicek leads a global enterprise that certifies coaches and consultants who work with organizations and individuals to develop healthier, more effective leadership practices. He has founded more than 25 companies throughout his career and has lived and worked in Oklahoma City, Moscow, Atlanta and London. His work centers on equipping leaders to multiply their positive influence and foster cultures built on trust, communication and effectiveness.

Lessons in Leadership – created Dr. Trish Berg, associate professor of business and management – connects students with accomplished leaders whose experiences and perspectives inspire them to strengthen their own leadership capabilities. The series provides students with opportunities to learn directly from professionals who are making an impact in their fields.

During his visit, Kubicek also will participate in a meet-and-greet with Heidelberg business students before delivering his evening keynote, giving students an opportunity to connect with him and learn more about his approach to leadership.

Through the Lessons in Leadership series, Heidelberg’s School of Business continues to bring real-world leadership perspectives to campus, creating opportunities for students and the broader community to learn, connect and grow.
