Athletic training students making their mark

Athletic training faculty and students at Heidelberg University have developed a strong tradition of service over the past 10 years with involvement in state, regional and national athletic training organizations. Currently, two students are involved with the Ohio Student Senate (OSS). Senior Josselyn Cook (pictured, left) is serving as an OSS senator and sophomore Marin Shaffner (pictured, right) was recently elected to serve as one of two representatives from Ohio to the Great Lakes Athletic Trainers Association (GLATA) Student Senate.

'Berg alumnus Genna Fusco, who graduated in 2013, and associate dean Trevor Bates helped develop OCC. Trevor currently serves as an advisor to the GLATA Student Senate.
