Thank you, Colleagues!

Dr. Marc O'Reilly (left) and Dr. Trevor Bates, who organized the "meet and greet" event.

Dr. Trevor Bates shared the following message following the "meet and greet" event on Monday that was designed as an informal welcome to new colleagues and a fond farewell to those who are departing to pursue other career opportunities:

"Thank you to everyone who attended and considered attending what turned out to be the Welcome and Farewell meet and greet on Monday 08/01/2016 in Saurwein.  There was no formal program, just an opportunity to get to know one another better with a few snacks in the mix!  We met two new graduate assistants in School of Business, Vito Sciuto and Kelly Devine, and John Sharp, the new assistant director in Stoner Health & Counseling Center. Previously, many of us met the new VP for Administration and Business Affairs, Hoa Nguyen.  We said "see you later" to two people who I have come to know and respect during their time at Heidelberg, Monica Durham (Owen Center) and Tom Alexander (Admission).  There were also the great conversations with so many colleagues from across campus.  Based on the feedback, I am hopeful this type of informal opportunity to connect continues because it makes us a healthier organization."
