OASIS Pin and ID

Students accepted to Heidelberg University receive the OASIS ID and PIN with their orientation information and with the enrollment fee confirmation letter (undergraduates) or acknowledgement/acceptance letter (graduates). The ID is a nine digit number beginning with zero. Your default PIN will be your birthdate in the following format: MMDDYY.

The first time you log in to OASIS, you will be prompted to change your PIN. The PIN must be six digits. For security purposes, do not change your PIN to numbers that others will be able to guess (for example: 111111 or 123456). We also suggest that you do not maintain your date of birth as the PIN. You will also be asked to answer a security question in the case that you forget your PIN. The security question will allow you to temporarily reset your PIN to your date of birth to then set another password.

At the login screen within OASIS are links to assist individuals who have fogotten their ID and PIN. If you are unable to complete the steps available to locate your ID and reset the PIN you may 1) email registrar@heidelberg.edu from a BergMail account with a request for resetting the pin, or (2 a scanned image of a state ID must be faxed to the Registrar's Office or scanned and emailed to registrar@heidelberg.edu.

Registration Information

Heidelberg University operates on a semester calendar. Registration currently occurs in March/April for summer and fall registration and October/November for spring registration. The class schedule is available in OASIS. Undergraduate registration opens at 8:30 a.m. or at assigned time and will remain open until 8:30 a.m. the following day. Registration reopens at the conclusion of the freshmen window and remains open until the 5th school day of the semester registering into.

All students who are eligible to register will receive a registration time ticket. Time tickets can be viewed a few weeks prior to registration in OASIS under each student’s “Registration Status.” Undergraduate students who are in the AIM HEI program or on academic probation for the semester are required to meet with their advisor and obtain a separate registration PIN to permit registration.

Heidelberg students register for most classes online via OASIS. Registrations processed in the Office of the Registrar include: internship contracts, independent study agreements, undergraduate registration in excess of 19 hours during one semester (registration card in office), ROTC cross-town agreement classes (available in the office), late registrations (registration card in office) and off-campus and study-abroad registrations (Office of International Affairs and Studies).
