Domestic Violence Awareness Week

Starting Thursday, there will be silhouettes and purple ribbons decorating campus in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Week Oct. 21-25. The Office of Civic Engagement, in collaboration with the Center for Survivor Empowerment, is hosting a week of activism. The silhouettes will have first-hand accounts of domestic violence that were shared via the viral hashtag #IWishYouKnew. The next week, we ask that you please take a couple of minutes out of your day to attend one of our events, read the stories posted on the silhouettes or simply raise your own personal awareness of domestic violence
