Day of Giving: Show your Love
Show your love for Heidelberg on Monday, February 15, with a gift to The Heidelberg Fund or the Student Emergency Support Fund during our annual Day of Giving. Over 24 hours, you’ll have an opportunity to make a difference in the life of a student at Heidelberg. The Board of Trustees has already shown their love by generously establishing a pool of $300,000 that will be used to stretch your gift when you support an area of your choosing within The Heidelberg Fund: highest priority or need of the university, academic programs and the library, student scholarships and financial aid, and athletics. The Trustee challenge applies to current donors who increase their gift (we’ll DOUBLE the increase of your gift) and new donors (we’ll DOUBLE your gift). Matching gifts also qualify.
The Heidelberg Fund
The Heidelberg Fund is an organized effort to obtain gifts on a yearly basis to support the general operations of the university. Donors who choose to contribute to The Heidelberg Fund may designate their gift to the highest priority or need of the university, academic programs and the library, student scholarships and financial aid or athletics.
During the academic year, you may receive a phone call from one of our trained student representatives. You can use this conversation to make a pledge or gift or to find out more about giving options. You can donate anytime online!
Student Emergency Support Fund
For students, unforeseen expenses can be a make-or-break factor in determining whether they’re able to stay in school. The Student Emergency Support Fund was established to help students who are faced with unanticipated financial obstacles.
