The 1975 cult classic movie The Rocky Horror Picture Show is beloved by audiences all around the world. Based on its staged version of a similar name in the West End, The Rocky Horror Show, this movie features what can only be described as an elaborate plot with sexiness, camp, dark humor, and the Time Warp! When Denton, Ohio sweethearts Brad and Janet get stuck with a flat tire during a storm they discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter, a transvestite scientist. As their innocence is lost, Brad and Janet meet a houseful of wild characters, including a rocking biker and a creepy butler. Through elaborate dances and rock songs, Frank-N-Furter unveils his latest creation: a muscular man named “Rocky.”

Fans all around the world have adored the story of Brad and Janet for almost 50 years. In that time, the most dedicated fans have come together to create a tradition of reenacting the film as it plays live with a shadow cast in matching costumes, lip-syncing, and dancing along. That very tradition is what Berg Allies, the Euglossian Society, the Make-A-Scene Improv Troupe, and the Heidelberg Theatre Department will present as they come together for the 4th Annual “Rocky Horror Shadow Show.”
