The John Quinn Lecture Series

John Quinn and the Art of Collecting: In the 1920s, Tiffin native John Quinn amassed the largest collection of modern art in the world. He had more than 50 paintings and sketches by Picasso, and works by other famous artists like Matisse, Seurat, Duchamp, and Braque.

In this lecture, Dr. Ginny Badgett of the Boston Athenaeum will talk about the impact of Quinn's art collection on the art world of the 1920s and on museums around the world today.
