Heidelberg School of Music & Theatre Open House

The School of Music & Theatre will host an open house for prospective students interested in music and theatre. Explore the arts, attend sessions on Backstage Magic, Building the Buzz: Tips for Brass players, Be a Better Actor in 10 Minutes and Maximizing your Vocal Potential. We have something for everyone! Join us and experience music and theatre instruction at the collegiate level.

There will also be sessions on Careers in the Arts, the college admission process, and financial aid sessions especially geared for parents interested in learning more about life as an artist and how to take the next step.

In the afternoon, students can schedule individual appointments for mock auditions, sample lessons, campus tours and appointments with Admission counselors. Here is the day's schedule. New this year, students pre-select their sessions, allowing everyone to personalize their visit schedule. 

The big finale to our open house will be the All Together Now: A Global Theatre Event held at 7:30 p.m. in Gundlach Theatre. Tickets are free for all open house guests.

According to Heidelberg protocols, masks are required for indoors events and social distancing will be observed.
