Greek Sing is an annual event that has been a Heidelberg tradition. It is an event that attracts a lot of parents and alumni. Greek Sing gives all of the groups a chance to show off their talent as well as their sense of humor. Each group performs a routine using popular music in a show choir- type routine. The event encourages Greek unity because there is no winner. Instead, Greek Sing is a time when the groups can have fun and show their support for the other fraternities and sororities.
During the spring semester fraternities and societies come together to compete in the events that each group has planned. Obstacle courses, volleyball, Jell-o slide, and the infamous dizzy bat are just a few of the events. Even though friendly competition occurs, unity is the ultimate goal. Show your greek spirit and have fun competing!
The Heidelberg Greek organizations show school spirit each fall through their involvement in many Homecoming activities. Each group creates a float for the parade, as well as sponsors various events at the bonfire.
